Cedar Park Cave Days

Cedar Park Cave Days are held by the City of Cedar Park - Parks & Recreation Department in the Spring and Fall of each year.

During Cave Days, the public can visit several Cave Preserves and sites in and around the city: Buttercup Creek Cave Preserve,
Avery Ranch Cave, Discovery Well Cave Preserve, Dies Ranch Treasure Cave, and Twin Creek Historical Area.  Most of the activities usually begin at Kay Redden Park.

Many of the Cave Preserves in and around Cedar Park are home to the Rhadine persephone cave beetle.

Even when it is not Cave Day - Cedar Park residences can visit and learn about the the caves at the Buttercup Creek Cave Preserve - where educational signs have been installed
