First about the website, then about me.

About the site..
In 2007 I took a class on some nerdy webdesign stuff (php/mySql) and needed a project/site to try out what I learned. At the time, I was a recent Cedar Park resident and frustrated with the fact that whenever I searched online to find local restaurants, parks, etc - I kept getting results for Austin. I called my "project" CedarPark360.com as a reference or tribute to Austin360.com. I posted a few pages with local Cedar Park/Leander info and was surprised by the unexpected number of hits the site got (I guess there were a lot of other people looking for the same things)and have maintained/added to it since then. And here we are..

About me..
I grew up in Killeen, Texas (a few miles north of Austin - but a world apart). I attended Texas A&M (yes that would make me an Aggie). After college, I moved around the US for several years. After our second winter in Connecticut, my wife (a Longhorn) decided she needed to settle down near Austin (it was OK with her if I moved too). We found a place in Cedar Park and have lived here since 2007.
