Cedar Park 5 Miler and Kids 1K Fun Run

The Cedar Park 5 miler will be held on 5 October 2009.  It will be the fourteenth annual Cedar Park 5 mile running event.

Since 1996 there has been a community supported 5 miles run and 1K.  Since 2008, it has been under the direction of the Twin Lakes Family YMCA. Proceeds from the yearly event go to support Cedar Park's Hike and Bike trails.  In 2009, a 5k has been added in addition to the Kids 1K and the 5 Miler.

The Kids 1K (for participants 11 years of age and younger) will start at 7:30 a.m., the 5K at 8:00 a.m., and the 5 Miler at 8:15 a.m. Only the 5 Miler will be a timed event.

The race begins and ends at Buttercup Creek Commons shopping center at the corner of Buttercup Creek and Bell Blvd. (Highway 183).
