Play at the Brushy Creek Lake Splashpark. There is nothing better than cooling off at the Spashpark on a hot summer day. The Splashpark at Brush Creek is free and open most days during the Summer. More info and pics at Brush Creek Lake Park page. (Cost: Free).

Dig for Dinosaurs at Champions Park. If you don't mind the kids getting a little dirty, they can have tons of free fun digging for dinosaurs at Champions Park. Replica dinosaur bones are covered in the sand pit - kids can have fun "discovering" these prehistoric creatures. (Cost: Free).

Swim and Play at Veteran's Memorial Pool . Through the summer, swim, splash, and play at the Veterans Memorial Pool. (Small Fee)

Ride Cedar Rock Railroad at Williamson County Regional Park. Weekends - Ride the Kid sized Cedar Rock Railroad at Williamson County Regional Park. The 1/4 scale miniature train takes you and the kids on a 1.6 mile ride through the Park. (Cost: small fee $2.50 per person)

Cedar Park Farmer's Market at Lakeline Mall. Saturdays through the Summer. Meet local farmers and other food producers, listen to live music, shop for local organic produce. More info at the Farmers Market page.(Cost: Entry is Free)
